Ladoga - Clarence "Tom" Jeffries, 59 of Rt. 1, died early Saturday morning in Culver Hospital after being admitted a few hours previously. He was born Feb 2, 1911 in Montgomery County to Charlie and Linie Branden Jeffries. He married Doris Simpson on March 9, 1933 at Crawfordsville. Mr. Jeffries farmed and lived in the Waveland community all his life. He was a graduate of Waveland HS. Surviving are his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Theodore (Judy) Gregg of Waveland, two brothers, Homer of Darlington and Ralph of Roachdale; two grandsons and several nieces and nephews. He wa spreceded in death by two brothers, William and Lloyd. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Waveland by Rev. Edward Dooley.
